Aw yeah, check it, it's DJ 'Uhane on the wheels of plastic, scratchin' on the DJX-IIB. He can mix a funky beat that wont quit! GO GO GO GO! You can almost hear the fresh beats comin out of that box.

On Saturday well after the Pacific Islander Festival, we ended up back at my pad. My friends took in the sights of my digs and what toys I had laying around. We can see that 'Uhane took to my "toy" pretty well. I guess we all know what to get him for his birthday. Beyond scratchin, we watched "Kung Fu Hustle". Yeah that's right, we watched it at my pad. For most of you who don't know, the movie has been out for quite some time in Asia, and has also already been released on DVD there. So I found it on eBay from a friend of mine and i bought it. So you too can check it out on eBay and buy your very own copy of the movie. And yes it's subtitled.

Saturday April 30th was the Pacific Islander Festival in Harbour City, CA. My Halau, Keali'i o Nalani, participated with a Maori production, both men and women. It was a cool affair. Here in the picture we see Malulani and Alanapualani posing after their performance. Alanapualani is quite the fetch... Kanakakai took a ton of photos, hopefully if he's nice enough, he'll float me some to post. Ya gotta see my afro, I let it all hang out. Maybe perhaps I'm Fijian, hmmm...
